Fifth Grade Banyan Trees

Fifth Grade students learned about the Banyan Tree. We talked about symbolism and how some cultures believe the banyan tree represents everlasting life. Students painted their tree with black acrylic paint. Oil pastels were used to complete the work and to add a reflection.
